corrupted leaders

I was really touched by what they had to go through, I am happy that I will never have to go through something like that. It was terrible what happened but it could not have been prevented. The trip to the museum taught me to appreciate what I had and not just ask for things constantly. I always knew that humans did terrible things sometimes, but after learning about the genocides I was stunned that even though the evilest man in the world could do something like that. What I took away from this unit is that always be aware of what's going on in other countries so that if something like that was to happen again it could be stopped early on. But people tend to repeat themselves in history, which does not mean it will happen again but you never know. In history, there been two known  genocides which are two too many, but I believe that they were necessary to show humanity what can happen if A country has a corrupt leader or the people are just evil. I think that sometimes if their leader is corrupt and evil they have no choice but to be like them unless they want to fight against them which some but not all do.
